The two largest customer-based communities are already looking forward to the next release of the Samsung Galaxy S8 and iPhone 8. Although there are already some leaks about the new S8, Apple didn’t disclose any of its plans.
The new iPhone is expected to hit the market later in 2017, possibly in late summer. Some analysts believe that the company will come with a different approach this time by developing three variants instead of two.
It is not known yet whether the third one will be better than the other two or if Apple engineers will make a mini variant more affordable than the others. Such a marketing strategy will most likely boost the company’s sales.
However, other analysts claim that iPhone 8 will come in two variants as usual. Rumour has it that Apple won’t retain the metal casing which has been like a signature for the latest releases.
Instead, the company will go for resilient glass design with back panels supplied by Lens Technology and Biel Crystal Manufactory, two widely popular Chinese companies. The aluminum frame will most likely be manufactured by Foxconn.
New Hues and Display
iPhone 8 is expected to come with OLED technology this time, even if some say that the company will go for the LCD. To tackle the competition, the new iPhone might feature a curved screen, so Samsung will be no longer be the top brand using this specification.
While virtual reality is currently the mainstream technology, the company aims to enhance the iPhone 8 with VR components as well. It is already known that Apple purchased high-tech 3D Primesense sensors which would most likely be used in developing the iPhone 8.
Apart from the standard colors, the next model will come with two additional colors and a glossier gray to replace the standard one. Also, the 5-inch display will have an improved screen resolution. In other words, the iPhone 8 will probably be a smartphone with full HD-display or a quad HD phablet.
iPhone 8 Camera
Regarding camera features, the main shooter might come with periscope or DSLR technology. Other upgrades include quick wireless charging and a generous power source. There will be much to like about the future iPhone 8, which promises to be a reliable and user-friendly device.
