Bailey Boswell and Aubrey Trail must answer for the murder of 24-year-old Sidney Loofe, a woman Boswell met on Tinder. The authorities found Loofe’s decomposing remains on the 4th of December, almost one month after her mother reported her disappearance.
Nebraska Pair Bought Power Tools Before Murdering Tinder Date
Nebraska police are trying to unravel the mystery behind the disappearance and slaying of Sidney Loofe.
According to the police report, local law enforcement officers began probing 51-year-old Aubrey Trail and 23-year-old Bailey Boswell after discovering Loofe’s remains on the 4th of December.
The authorities declared that Loofe’s body had been dismembered and the parts placed in plastic bags. Loofe’s dismembered body was found in a field, approximately 90 miles southwest of Lincoln.
Loofe was reported missing by her mother on the 16th of November after she failed to show up home for work. Based on the timeline, Sidney Loofe died sometime between the 14th and the 16th of November.
The Nebraska pair, who was serving time in prison for unrelated charges, claimed to have communicated with Loofe. Moreover, the authorities determined that Boswell met the woman on the 14th of November. Both have been chatting on Tinder before agreeing to a date.
Based on the pair’s confession, Boswell agreed to meet Loofe once more, on the 15th of December.
Conclusion
Time of death could not be established with precision since Loofe’s remains were badly decomposed. However, security footage obtained by the authorities shows the Nebraska pair leaving a Home Depot store on the day Boswell was supposed to meet Loofe.
Furthermore, the investigators ascertained that the two went to the store to buy the tools they would have needed to murder the woman. No motive was released.
