A volcano erupted in Southern Japan exploded fragments of magma on Friday. The volcano is erupted for the first time in 22 years. The majority of the flight has been cancelled in that particular region due to the eruption.
The volcano known as Mount Aso is located around 625 miles southwest from Tokyo. It is considered as one of the largest volcanoes of the world. However, the authorities hope that lava would not ascend in scale.
According to a statement of Japan Meteorological agency, the Mount Aso released out fragments and smoke. It shooted plumes of ash approximately a kilometer high in the sky.
Japan experienced several volcano eruptions from the beginning of 2014. Last month, eruption of Mount Ontake killed around 50 people.
An analysis discovered that flying rocks are responsible for the death of most of the people. These rocks travelled at a high speed of 190 mph.
Mount Ontake is listed as on of the top 47 active volcano of the country. It is situated at Nagano west of Tokyo. Although the authorities continuously observe Mount Ontake but unfortunately this time no one predicted such a massive eruptions
On the other hand, People who survived from the Mount Ontake’s eruption stated that a large amount of rocks and debris showered down on them from the volcano.
