A Photo of The Next iPhone Allegedly Leaks Online

January 25, 2016 By Cliff Jenkins Scott

"iphone 5se"

After the first video was released last week, a photo of the next iPhone allegedly leaks online to add more fuel to the rumors about Apple’s (NASDAQ:AAPL) upcoming device. Dutch website One More Thing first posted the image of the smartphone to be launched by Apple in the next couple of months.

The video online claimed to be showing off the upcoming iPhone, but the source was considered questionable due to the fact that it was hard to tell it was actually the 4.7-inch phone. With no size to compare, it was deemed as difficult to discern if it was another similar model. However, a picture has surfaced, one that is allegedly the real deal.

It looks like the iPhone 6s, but it isn’t?

The image displays an iPhone 5, for the purpose of scale, and the upcoming model to be released by Apple. Reportedly, the rumors were wrong in its name by dubbing it iPhone 6C. However, the next launch from the company will instead be titled iPhone 5se, with the suffix likely standing for “special edition” to show the “enhanced version of the iPhone 5”. However, without confirmation from Apple themselves, the community can only suggest and theorize about the next release.

The picture shows that the alleged iPhone 5se looks similar to the latest 4.7-inch iPhone 6s and 5.5-inch iPhone 6s Plus, including the curved edges and Touch ID. It’s possible that the upcoming smartphone will include the fingerprint unlock feature, which has proven to be rather popular among users. Furthermore, the iPhone 5se could potentially be powered by the Apple A8 chipset and the M8 motion co-processor. The chipset is also currently present in the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus.

The upcoming smartphone will be equipped with an 8 megapixel camera, and a 1.2 megapixel front-facing camera as well. In terms of support, it will most likely be able to capture Live Photos and shoot a 3 seconds long video. Other features might include the standard autofocus and panorama, and possibly Apple Pay with NFC connectivity.

The iPhone 5se is set to launch this spring, alongside the new Apple Watch 2 that has been promised to arrive with a slew of improvements over the previous model. KGI Securities analyst, Ming-Chi Kuo estimates the price of the next iPhone to reach between $400 to $500. However, more official confirmations are likely to follow in the wake of the few online leaks. All the theories could be put to rest.

One feature that will likely be missing is the 3D Touch that has been introduced with iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus. It’s possible that it will be reserved only for the latest, high-end models that we will see launched from Apple. If rumors are true, the upcoming iPhone 7 will certainly be included in that list.

Apple’s iPhone 7, however, is expected to launch at some point in September 2016. Rumors centered around the high-end device are boasting of a curved screen and the removal of the “home” button. It would be interesting to see what sort of improvements Apple will make, and perhaps add in new functions to their tech.

Apple Will Launch ‘MINI’ iPhone In September 2015

December 30, 2014 By Marlene R. Litten

Apple-mini-version-flagship-iPhone-2015

Hardly 3-months back, Apple launched its new-generation iPhone 6 models – the 4.7-inch iPhone 6 and the 5.5-inch iPhone 6 Plus; however media reports and speculations have already started making rounds about the organization’s iPhone models for 2015.

In spite of the fact that Apple will most likely reveal its next-generation iPhones in September 2015, it is being extensively rumored that the next year iPhone models will include a smaller screen handset.

Cowen and Company examiner Timothy Arcuri has said in a late note to investors that Apple will clearly launch a 4-inch “mini” version in the 2015 iteration of its flagship smartphone.

As indicated by Arcuri’s note, which purportedly has been seen by AppleInsider, the “mini” iPhone to be launched by Apple next year will offer just about the same performance levels as the iPhone 5s. Though, it will gimmick curved screen edges like the iPhone 6, and will probably be advertised as a substitute for the multihued inexpensive iPhone 5c.

Arcuri’s projections about “mini” iPhone version are rather substantiated by a few reports surfacing in Taiwan and China which assert that the iPhone 5c will soon be on its way out; with Apple intending to end its creation in early 2015.

Google Nexus 6 Review – The Biggest Nexus Phone

November 13, 2014 By Andreas Petersen

Nexus 6 massive screen

Google’s new Nexus phone falls into the category of phablet due to its massive display screen. The company is already considered as the largest smartphone operating system developers. However, this time Google has launched the biggest smartphone.

The massive 5.9 inch display screen of Google beats the other popular phones such as Samsung Galaxy Note 4 and iphone 6.  Undoubtedly, Nexus 6 offers some really exiting and alluring features but the screen is the noteworthy one.

It is a trend of Google to launch all the inexpensive smartphones in the line of Nexus. However, this time the company did not follow the same tradition and released Nexus 6 at a really high cost.  The price of Nexus 6 starts at $649 for an off contract device. The cost is pretty similar to some of the latest phones like iPhone 6 Plus and Samsung Galaxy Note 4.

The taller, wider and thicker Nexus 6 is about 6.3 × 3.3 × 0.4 inches. It is certainly difficult to hold the device with one hand. Therefore, People would not be able to comfortably use Nexus 6 in places like shopping malls, grocery stores, bus stands and trains.

Nevertheless, some analysts predict that this giant screen can also reduce the popularity of the new Nexus Phone.

Furthermore, Google has powered the device with QUALCOMM Snapdragon 805 processor. The new Nexus 6 will run on the latest version of Android that is Android 5.0.  In addition, the company has promised to directly release over-the-date updates especially for this device.

The other amazing features of Nexus 6 are 13 mega-pixel rear camera along with optical Image Stabilization. The company has incorporated a 2 mega pixel front camera.

Unfortunately, Google has not offered any multi tasking window features in this device. It is definitely a big setback for the new Nexus 6.

Apple Postponed the Release of New iPad Air due to the Large Demand of iPhone 6

October 10, 2014 By Denise Ehrlich

Apple Postponed Release of New iPad Air

The Californian technology giant has reportedly delayed the production of larger screen iPad to give its suppliers an opportunity to keep up with the overwhelming demand of iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus.

Recently, Wall Street journal reported that Apple’s plan to make a bigger screen iPad have been delayed until early next year, citing anonymous people familiar with the matter. Certainly, the Apple suppliers are having trouble in making sufficient new iPhones to cope up with the public demands, so super sized. 12.9 inch tablet will have to wait.

The suppliers have already planned to start the massive production of larger screen tablets in December.

Currently, Apple’s ultimate priority is to cope with the irresistible demand of larger screen iPhones, Journal’s supplier sources stated. Still, Apple is facing unsatisfactory output of the 5.5-inch iPhone plus from the suppliers-side. It seems quite challenging for the contractors to divide resources and spend some time to slope up production for a new bigger screen iPad.

Here, it’s really important to note, that the reports concerning manufacturing delays normally arise before the widgets launches, especially those from Apple. In April and August, there were some reports that manufacturing problems can delay the launch of iPhone 6-Plus, though it released on time.

With a major decline in iPad sales, Cupertino is looking for the new ways to capture market, particularly with the Business Users. An iPad with the larger screen actually does against enterprise focused widgets such as 12-inch Surface Pro3, which was positioned as a flexible substitute of Apple’s MacBook Air.

Within first 3 days of release, company sold more than 10 million iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus devices, which is believed to be faster than other product in the Apple’s entire history.

Apple’s Chief Executive, Tim Cook told, “We are not happy about the level of new iPhone demand, as we saw millions of customers queuing for long hours to get the new device.”

Chinese Smugglers Making Big Bucks on iPhone 6

September 27, 2014 By June Harris

iPhone 6In Hong Kong, two days after the new iPhone went on sale, custom officers see some people loading boxes into speedboat in one of the remote area.

When the officers approached, the men jumped into the boat and sped off, leaving behind 15 boxes packed with new iPhones.

It has been reported that, the smuggling act is only a small linkage in such a huge network, which is especially formed to satisfy the substantial demands of the iPhones in China. Just remember, it’s the place where authorities have yet needed to consent the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 plus.

As per the recent report, Apple AAPL, Tech30 has not yet announced that when they are going to sell the latest smartphones in its second largest market. Last week, the state media reported that iPhone 6 has not yet got a key license in China.

All this is done by smugglers, for the purpose of dropping the prices of iPhones which are lawfully bought in Apple stores in New York. This is considered to be big issue, for iPhone supporters who pay millions of dollars for iPhone 6 and iPhone 6+. CNN found few sellers outside an Apple stores in Beijing, reported on Wednesday.

According to a report, officers found smugglers selling a new iPhone 6 at 1800 dollars. It was a big question mark, from where did these phones come? According to the report, these iPhones are shipped from Hong Kong and in this scenario the smuggler would be making over 1000 dollars per phone.

Hong Kong is considered to be a key hub of apple iPhones and three stores of Phones are running, these iPhones are designed in china for avoiding taxes on import. This Smuggling movement appears to be efficient. On Monday, customs officers found 20 new iPhones concealed in containers in a truck leaving for the mainland.

Authorities across the border in Shenzhen seized more than 600 iPhones over a three day period, reported by local media. Nearly 40 mafias working on this have been caught at the city’s ports.

Chinese market is considered to be very important for Apple. But the iPhone maker has tripped up there in recent years, losing ground in the Smartphone race to rivals, including Xiaomi, that offer cheaper phones. Apple signed a contract last year with China Mobile to offer the iPhone, in a bid to enlarge its way. China Mobile is the world’s largest transporter by subscribers, with around 700 million users or more than twice the population of the U.S.
