Here’s a bit of good news for gamers who are also fans of the famous, or infamous, fast food chain: you can now win a golden PlayStation 4 with your Taco Bell meal. The next-generation console is being put up for a simple luck contest that will require you to be one of the fortunate to gain one of the winning codes.
According to Sony, they will be giving out 6,000 Gold PlayStation 4 bundles, all wrapped neatly with their own DualShock 4 controller, a 1 year free subscription to PlayStation Plus, and a genuine copy of Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection remastered, which will be officially out on October 9th.
In order to win, anyone interested in getting their hand on the golden console need to purchase a Big Box meal of any variety, and will receive an unique code to text back to Taco Bell. They will be announced if they’re one of the big winners. There’s a solution even if you’re not a huge fan of the fast food chain though.
After one month of the promotion, interested parties can e-mail Taco Bell and request one of the unique codes to enter the contest. Sony did underline though that the hardware bling won’t be available for purchase in stores, and the edition is strictly limited to their partnership with taco lovers.
The special Gold PlayStation 4 will become available in the United States, starting on September 24th, 2015 and will last until November 4th, where there will be a new winner “every 10 minutes”, according to Sony on their official blog and promotional page.
To enter the contest, you need to be over 18 years old, and head over to your local Taco Bell restaurant, or request the online code after October 22nd, which should be noted that it’s toward the end of the contest. The sooner you enter, the bigger the chances, not to mention the fact that they will be accepting just one entry per day.
So, gamers planning on stuffing themselves with quesarito Big Box won’t be getting any extra chances at winning the golden Limited Edition PlayStation 4 Bundle, in all its shiny glory, with the Plus membership, and the upcoming remastered version of Nathan Drake’s adventures. The final game of the franchise, Uncharted: A Thief’s End is expected to come out sometime in 2016.
Taco Bell lovers or just gamers can soon get their hands on the Gold PS 4 and its bundle, starting later this month. For a limited time and edition only.
