Apple launched the preview of Os X El Capitan which has a lot of new features and the best know Apple trait, the design, does not fail the expectation of those that were anxiously waiting for this moment.
Few people actually know that “El Capitan” is the name of rocky formation to be found in the Yosemite National Park that is very impressive and it may be seen as a symbol of strength and endurance. The technology enthusiasts have also found similarities between and the fact that Apple has refined now some of its structural elements, which improve its overall performance.
At the present time, only developer preview is available and the version of the public will be launched in July.
One of its innovative features is the fact that two applications can be used at the same time, as the windows automatically resize themselves , just by clicking a small green button. Craig Federighi, Senior Vice President of Software Engineering also presented to the public a new feature that allows us to find the cursor easier.
The user only has to give the cursor a little shake, and it will immediately appear, enlarged, so it can be spotted more easily. Other improved features include the better accuracy in searches of Spotlight that can put together many other information regarding your personal documents, calendar entries, messages or history.
Safari will allow you to mute your pages easier by means of a special button. The mail is also improved, as it allows you to pass through email using just two fingers, and deciding what to do with them only by moving them to the right, or to the left. You can also use the vocal command to search through email, for example you can simply just order your El Capitan to show you your list of emails from X or Y.
Other features include: the faster opening of a PDF document, smoother browsing of the internet while editing pictures, a new transparent status bar and disk utility that immediately fixes errors.
