The New Jersey authorities recently arrested a 64-year-old private Christian school administrator and charged her with two counts of child endangerment and cruelty towards children. According to the woman’s arrest warrant, the administrator has been accused of threatening to stab two 4-year-old children because they’ve misbehaved.
Christian School Administrator Might Face up to Three Years in Prison
Last week, the New Jersey authorities arrested 64-year-old Adetokunbo Akinnaso, Sicklerville resident and the administrator of private Christian preschool Dawn to Dusk Christian Childcare and Learning Center.
According to the official police record, the alleged event happened last week, and it involved two 4-year-old students. The two preschoolers were brought to Akinnaso’s office by one of their teachers who told the woman that the two misbehaved.
After being left alone with the misbehaving students, the woman took out a knife from her desk and threatened to stab them should they be out of order again. The two students were sent home and told their parents all about the incident with the private Christian school administrator.
Following the police complaint, the 64-year-old was arrested and charged with endangering a minor’s welfare and cruelty towards children. If the woman is found guilty, she might serve up to four years in prison.
Fortunately, none of the students involved in the incident were harmed. Ronald Bolandi, the school’s interim superintendent, declared that the disciplinary board is currently reviewing the facts in Akinnaso’s case and will take the appropriate actions.
Surprisingly, the woman has been teaching at the privately-owned school for the past few decades but had no disciplinary record.
At the moment, the former Christian school administrator has been booked into county jail and await her trial. The latest police record indicates that the woman is currently looking for an attorney to represent her in court.
