Conspiracy theorists worldwide come up with the craziest ideas regarding the shape of our Earth or its origin. You must be familiar with the flat Earth movement, but it seems they are not the only ones who invent theories on the shape of our planet. Rodney Cluff has wrote a book arguing that Earth is actually hollow, and has an entire army of supporters.
Hollow Earthers claim our planet is doughnut-shaped
The book in question is called “World Top Secret: Our Earth IS Hollow”, and it seems to have gathered quite a numerous fanbase. Cluff declared that more and more people contact him every day, telling him they have read the book and admitting his arguments are pretty convincing. At the moment, the movement has several thousands of supporters, but it appears to be rapidly growing.
Instead of being spherical, these people claim Earth is round, and hollow at the center. More precisely, they view it as a doughnut. What is even more insane is what is hidden in this hollow spot. They still debate on what should be there, but Cluff thinks the hole hides UFOs and a secret garden of Eden. Others went that far to say Nazis and Vikings aren’t actually gone, and use this place as a shelter.
These people think NASA is trying to hide the truth about Earth’s shape
Although there is enough scientific evidence to disprove this theory, the hollow Earth supporters don’t trust it. They claim all these papers and space images provided by NASA are an attempt of the authorities to keep people in the dark, and hide the truth from them.
Unfortunately for the hollow Earthers, there is plenty of material within Earth’s crust. The planet’s core is made of molten iron at huge temperatures, which is covered in an outer layer. Then, the next one is the mantle, which is covered by the crust we see at the surface.
