Two months ago, the U.S Center of Disease Control and Prevention has already warned people regarding the dangerous forthcoming flu season. Earlier, the government health agency predicted that the current flu vaccine would not be able to battle with this fatal disease. Sadly, all the apprehensions of CDC turned out true.
It appears like children are the most favorite target of this flu strain. Initially, it attacks young children without any major symptoms or health issues. Afterwards, it silently grows inside the body and emerges at a very uncontrollable condition.
According to the official reports of the Health department of Minnesota, around 50 percent of the students were unable to attend schools due to the illness.
Patsy Stinchfield, Director of Infection Prevention and Control inform that currently seven children are under treatment in the intensive care unit because of this flu virus. There are chances that this flu strain would mark a new history in number of cases till the end of December.
The H3 flu strain enters into the blood and instantly infects the functions of brain. Such kind of symptoms can lead to death if not treated properly on time. Additionally, it possesses the power to pack the chest of children with white blood cells that make it difficult for the immune system to fight.
