
This recent event that took place in an Oregon McDonald’s shows that not only is the job demanding but potentially dangerous as well. Reportedly, an angry McDonald’s customer assaulted a staff member and tried to destroy to restaurant’s famed arches when his order was no honored.
Angry McDonald’s Customer Subdued by Patron with Gun, Authorities Reported
According to the Oregon authorities, on the 16th of March 37-year-old Jedediah Ezekiel Fulton was taken into custody and charged with multiple counts including harassment and criminal trespass after the man, allegedly, tried to bring down the famous McDonald’s’ arched logo.
The incident, which occurred in Sutherlin, an Oregon town located 165 miles south of Portland, was, in part, fueled by a staff member’s refusal to honor the man’s order.
According to the police record, Fulton entered the restaurant around noon, went to counter and asked the staff member for 30 double cheeseburgers. Promptly, the staff member told Fulton that his order was too large to process and offered him an alternative.
Reportedly, when the man was told that his order could not be filled, be became violent, threatening the personnel and the other customers who were waiting in line. After that, he went outside and attempted to destroy the restaurant’s arches. The authorities have refused to disclose how the man attempted to damage McDonald’s property.
The irked McDonald’s customer was later subdued by an armed customer after he reportedly grabbed a person by the shirt. According to the police report, the suspect also damaged several items inside the restaurant before being taken into custody.
