LG has announced a 34 inch desktop monitor for avid gaming enthusiasts. The South Korean company would introduce the monitor during the Consumer Electronic Show 2015 in Las Vegas.
This unusually large 21:9 display monitor integrates supports for AMD’s FreeSync that does not allow tears to occur when moving between frames. These tears occur when your monitor and graphic card are out of sync. LG claims that this is one of its best displays and promises it would provide unmatched color accuracy because of its ability to output 99 % of the sRGB color gamut in addition to the 178 degree viewing angle.
LG also plans to launch a flat brother of this monitor that would retain the curved monitor’s FreeSync technology and 21:9 resolution.
In addition to gamers, the company is also marketing these monitors for stock traders and brokers as LG claims that these devices can be stacked together which would be useful for those dealing in the stock market.
