A woman from Madera, California claims that she was the victim of a sexual predator inside a popular massage parlor. Following the woman’s complaint, the authorities temporarily closed the Zen Therapeutic Massage parlor.
Madera Massage Parlor Closed for a Couple of Hours
Last week, shoppers who passed by the Zen Therapeutic Message parlor could see law enforcement officers questioning witnesses and telling various clients that the premises are temporarily off limits. The Madera establishment was cordoned off following an event which took place several days ago.
Elsa Martinez, a Madera resident, finished running some errands with her husband after she decided to visit the massage parlor for some well-earned relaxation. Martinez told the authorities that it wasn’t her first visit to the parlor and each time she was treated with courtesy and the utmost professionalism.
However, during her recent visit, Martinez claims that one of the staff members sexually assaulted her. The woman recalls, seeing the receptionist who directed her to the nearby massage room. Martinez got undressed and covered herself with a towel before getting on the table.
The door opened, and the woman saw that a man came in instead of her usual masseuse. Martinez told the authorities that she did not mind, at first, since she thought that the man could very well be a new employee or a rookie.
However, upon approaching her, the suspect began groping her. After a couple of seconds, the woman managed to break free and to rush back to the receptionist. The suspect fled in the meantime. Martinez attempted to explain what happened and tried to call the authorities.
Conclusion
Allegedly, the receptionist tried to grab her phone and later called the manager. In the meantime, Martinez’s husband arrived followed by the massage parlor’s manager. At the moment, the authorities are trying to identify the suspect based on the woman’s description and the security tape retrieved from the establishment.
