Facebook is thinking to add a new button which can compete with the “like” button. The “Like” button of Facebook gained a lot of popularity among users. As per the data of social networking site, around 4.5 billion people click on “like” button daily.
Recently, Mark Zuckerberg conducted a questions and answers session in the California. The head of Facebook informed that the company is planning to introduce a “dislike” button.
However, the engineers are worried that people would use the button to humiliate each other. Hence, the company is trying to find a way through which people can show their feelings without humiliating other. There are several other reasons which indicate that “dislike” button would give birth to hostile emotions.
Zuckerberg stated that sometimes users do not want to press the like button for sad things. Unfortunately, they have to in order to show concern to their friends. Hence engineers are trying to figure out an appropriate way for people so that they can express their feelings in a decent manner.
Lately, the social networking site improved their search option with the option of Keyword search. The new graph search is quite a useful feature for the users. It will let people search people their previous use within seconds. They can effortlessly search older post of their friends, family and relatives. However, the feature is merely available for the iOS and desktop users. The firm will probably release the feature for other users in the future.
