At last, NASA completed the construction of the first Orion Spacecraft. The government agency planned to launch the first test flight on the 4th of December. The spacecraft will nearly take 4-5 hour to finish this task.

NASA utilized the idea of Apollo’s program of 1960 and 1970 for the creation of this new spacecraft. However, the new spacecraft is way faster and high tech as compared to the Apollo 17 shuttle. The Apollo shuttle carried three people to moon in December 1972.
The Orion flight will permit NASA to send astronauts on the Red Planet. It would be the first spacecraft that will send humans beyond the Moon. This incredible trip is planned for 2021.
Moreover, NASA informed that the spacecraft will come back to Earth with a speed of 20,000 mph. This kind of high speed usually produces temperature up to 4,000 degree Fahrenheit.
NASA intends to make use of Orion flight in NASA’s Space Launch system. The Space Launch system is one of the powerful rockets of the world. The chief purpose of the space launch system is to take 25 ton of capsule in the International Space Station.
Lockheed Martin Space System is a Colorado based company which is presently assisting NASA transforms this dream into reality.
A spokeswoman of Lockheed stated that their engineers and experts have manufactured a special heat shield for Orion. The shield, which is about 16.5 feet in diameter, is the biggest heat composite shield of the world
