South Carolina Man Refused to Appear Before Court
On Saturday, the authorities took 22-year-old Lovequawn Matthew Shaire Scott into custody and charged him with four counts of first-degree premeditated murder. According to the authorities, on that day, they were summoned to a Mount Pleasant house by a person who said that a man attacked his family.
When the authorities arrived at the house, they’ve discovered the South Carolina sitting quietly in the living room. The most disturbing part was that Scott’s clothes were soaked in blood and that he appeared to have injuries on both his hands.
According to the arresting officer, Scott was completely fazed out when he was discovered and was unable to answer any questions about why he beat to death his adoptive family. A search of the house revealed that 69-year-old Rose Manigault and Joseph Manigault, her husband, were found dead in the garage.
Moreover, 15-year-old Faith Manigault, Scott’s cousin, and 42-year-old Rose Manigault, the South Carolina man’s aunt, were discovered dead in the bedroom. Although the authorities declared that the cause of death in all four cases was physical aggression, but they’re waiting for confirmation from the coroner’s report.
The authorities also revealed that Scott refused to sign any documents and appear before the court in order to answer for his charges. At the moment, nobody knows for certain what pushed the South Carolina man to commit such an atrocious deed. According to a member of his family, Scott’s grandparents raised and cared for him as if he was their child.
