Spider Man Window Washer
Last week, 36-year-old Jarratt A. Turner, the window washer who would dress up like comic book hero Spider Man while working at a children’s hospital, has been sentenced to 105 years in prison for child pornography.
According to court documents, Turner, who’s been employed by a cleaning company to sanitize the windows of a local children’s hospital managed to gain the trust of two families. After befriending them, Turner convinced them to allow him to babysit.
Allegedly, the Spider Man window washer contacted the families sometime between October 2014 and May 2015.
After winning the families’ trust, the man took sexually explicit pictures of the two children he offered to babysit, a 12-year-old and a 31-month-old infant. Turner’s online activity suggest that the suspect made recordings of him sexually abusing both infants and using his position at the cleaning company to stalk and take pictures of six more infants at the hospital.
The authorities noted that Turner would use Wi-Fi networks to upload and disseminate material. This method helped him keep below the radar for some time.
After serving a house search warrant, the authorities found child pornography on both Turner’s phone and computer.
Conclusion
Even more sickening is the fact that every material Turner uploaded online was accompanied by an equally reprehensible description, including one in which he told his readers about how much he enjoys spending time with his nephew and other children.
